In 2009, a teenager walked 4 kilometres to watch gymnasts train, too shy to ask to join. On 16 July 2009 he found the courage and entered a group of 40 trainees. Seventeen years of training and eleven years of coaching later, Manoj Rawat teaches the discipline his seniors gave him.
